I'm not really good at communication with words. I tend to find myself not knowing exactly the right way to articulate what I'm trying to share with others, hell I'm probably even doing that now. However, I have missed having a space to share my day to day. Give a little insight. I'm exhausted with the social media outlets, the constant thread of sharing EVERYTHING with everyone. I don't mind having it out there, it's just not as personal as it once felt back in the days of live journal and the crew that you grew close to. You had a way to express yourself, and connect with those who understood you the way you understand them. Now we are lost in a sea of meaningless comments, likes, shares and no privacy.
We live in a world where if you don't tell someone it's your business, they might take it upon themselves to share with whoever on social media, or to ask someone to please give you some space while you enjoy a life impacting moment in your life. It's just insanity to me.
I absolutely love seeing the day to day of my friends and family but I also feel the need to fill the void of not sharing as much of my own life, children, insights and just my photography. I absolutely love sharing client sessions, expect to see those here 100% however I also want to share those cute in-between moments of what we are up to, from a trip to the orchard or just a walk around the neighborhood. If you hire me as your photographer, you should see where my heart is, right here in my own home. It's what makes me a better photographer for someone else. Because I know how precious these moments are, because they are as precious as my own.
So with that, I leave you with a few in between moments from around our home.
